I have a 1989 Moto 4 that has the "popular" Yamaha reverse system on it. It's worked fine for years, but then the other day I went to put her in reverse and got nothing. No clicks or pops or grinding to indicate that she was trying to get into reverse and failed -- just plain nothing happens by moving the handle backward. It rides fine forward. Is the linkage off? Is there an easy was to adjust this? Or is there something more serious wrong with the bike?
