With a bit of updating of the Warrior, I think it is attainable.

 

drop the yzf400 or426f in the warrior an wolverine,if the 2 smokers is gonna be gone drop a yzf 250F in the frame of the Blaster and walla keep the price down on it like it is now.I mean cripes 5600 for a 2504 stroke dirtbike and us idiots are buying em .Its getting ridicoulous,Some 1 shoulda never let some of them damn yuppies ever ride a dirtbike.

 

i say they should update the shee, like better shox, maybe a little taller, update the frame so its lighter, and better. and if the "smaller younger brother" of the raptor is gonna have lots of power, than they should upgrade the raptor into a twin cylinder700, or 800. somethin huge. so it kicks everythings a$$. also, they should make new plastic for the new raptor. its cool in all, but 3 diffrent size raptors does get boring after awhile.

 

the reason the dirtbike is so much is cause its got 30 horses and kicks the $hit out of the 125's in racing.

 

thats true *** but look at the enduro version of it too.Its up there n even tho there is alot of repli racer kids an avid off roaders.Not every 1 wants to go like hell thru the woods on there weeknds off and even half to pay 6 gs fer abike.Not to brag but I love my kdx fer tht reason it will run with the 125s and almost 250s and was and is affordable then both a 125 an 250.It will be a sad day when 2006 gets here and the EPA drops there arm n hammer down.Its also reliable I mean I coulda spent more for abike but that wasnt what it was about when I got my 1st bike in 2000.I also think even tho power rules there gets to be a point of diminishing return where You can only use so much hp on abike an then it wont matter.I mean a 250 puts out what bout 40-50 hp stock and countless mags have said most riders will never be able to harness all the power a modern day 2 stroke racer makes unless they are like mcgrath etc. Plus 60 hp you will lose to as when injury has its way,5 hp can hurt a man or woman if he or she isnt careful.Last but not least I love my SHee but I sat on the raptor and I love its ergonomics for my 5'11 165 lbd frame.WHY Not Yamaha drop the SHEE into the Raptor Frame.God knows If I had both bikes I would love to try it.HAHA

 

I think this is a TERRIBLE idea UNLESS yamaha is planning on replacing the Warrior with it. What's the point of making a hi perf. quad with 10 less ponies than the Raptor? That makes no sense... even if it was lighter, it would get crushed by the competition. But, if it was a sport model aimed at the mojave and 300ex, then it would work. ...yet they already have 2 offerings in each category. I won't be happy with anything less than an updated Banshee or 426 engined quad.

I heard cannondale was having monumentary problems w there quad line an might have to pull outta the market if they couldnt ge tthings together.
