banshee questions
#1
I took my banshee out yesterday to see if it would run terribly lean in the cold weather but when I pulled the plugs, they were tan. I gave it a long run wot and shut the engine down. One thing that bothered me is that before I did the full throttle run, I did a 3/4 throttle run and when I stopped to turn around, the engine was only running on one cylinder. As soon as I hit the throttle it came to life again and took off. I am assuming it should run lean as hell in sub zero temperatures, but why were the plugs tan? Could somebody with more knowledge on the subject attempt to take a wild guess of what was wrong, and correct me if I did something wrong.
Thanks.
Thanks.

If you are going to do a plug test, you absolutely have to do it with brand new plugs as the old ones wont give you an accurate read. You could run a little bit lean without knowing it and risk melting a piston down the road, the common knowleadge is that you should go one size bigger on the mains for each 10 degrees in temp changes.
