I have heard that if you move the stock carbs back like 2 3/4in that you gain 3hp. but what I can't figure out is why it would gain horsepower? Has anyone done this, and could they explain? Also, If I wanted to have this done, is there a place that will custom-make carb boots?

 

Its not 2.75", but I know what your talking about. I think it willl it would increase the intake speed, this is just a guess. Do a search under airraptor, he is the one I remember saying something about it.
