Will it was Last weekend me and wshrdskn and eaglecollector and a bunch of us went riding at Dumont and had a great time and all week we were looking for a predator (AT least i was)and the on the last day we spotted one ,Dident see him much but at his camp and then i spotted him going up comp hill and i had to take a run.I have an 03 raptor and a full yosh system and finalley jetted right ,There were 3 races and i got him on all three and i wasent picking on stock bike he also had a pipe (Whitebros)..I have witnesses so dont go smacking lip,I dont see how there so fast stock and the videos i seen with the one predator beating piped banshees and all the other bikes..Most of the videos were of a short hill run but comp at Dumont is a little longer and takes a little more !!!!!wish i had more time to whip him but there come s another day..

 

off subject but what jetting are you running? I have the same system. I ran it with the lid off and the dynojet 150/155. I have put the lid back on and changed to 146/148 to see if I noticed any difference in power.

well it's a long story but i changed my dynojet kit to a GYT-R and it's nice,I was actually testing the jetting there and changed it once to go lower ,It still ran rich but when i went to gorman to ride it ran great!! i STILL have to get the proFlow but i have my K&N filter bolted in right know .Im sure i will be able to run bigger jets ,Im not sure what makuni's compare to dynoS so i will let you know....

 

A Yosh system that probably adds 12-14 horsepower plus a K&N against a WB slip-on pipe that doesn not even flow enough to need to change the stock jetting. I would think you should win every time.

I raced my buddy on his and beat it miserably, I was either called a liar or I had no business racing a stock quad! Yes it's fast is it the rocket it is being made out to be NO!

I went to the redline 1/8th mile dragstrip this weekend with a few new friends of mine. My Raptor standard bore with a few mods ran a best 8.94 @ 73mph in the top of fourth gear, feathering the clutch out of the starting line. Thats pretty good since I did all the work myself and a few suggestions from friends.
I would like to see a predator go to a 1/8th mile track and see what it runs. I am not saying I,m the fastest since 14mins walked away from me from start to finish.
If a Predator runs close to that time it fast, but I don't think it will without a few mods.
