Well Chimmer and garyc660R, I will try next time to set the valves a tighter clearance .005-.008. I hope for the best.

I am running a Hot Cams II, JE 11:1 Piston, Ferra Valves (Stock Size), HMF full exhaust, going to switch to MBRP by the summer time hits.

My jetting is 27.5 pilots, 175, 180 mains, 2 and a half turns, and on the fourth clip of the needles. I have never experienced a back fire out of the exhaust, but through the intake thats another story. Still right now my head pipes glow a little, may need to go up a size on the pilots.

I bought all of my parts through 14mins good prices. I was hoping to run a little closer to 14mins when I raced him, but OH well back to the drawing board.

OR better yet if you can't beat them join them!

Why does everybody measure in standard sizes? I need metric for it to work in my head.LOL

Well its still louder but I fixed some of it, the ex valves were on the REAL loose side. Thanks again.
