I'm thinking about buying a quad tomorrow. Anyone have some bargaining tips? I'm looking at an '03 raptor and the dealer has come down to $5400 + tax and he says that is he lowest price. Maybe offer $6000 if he includes the extended warranty? Try for a lower price? argg should I even buy the warranty? (this is all considering they approve my credit which is virtually non-existant)

As far as trying to bring the price down good luck, try to get him to through free extras in like oil filters GTRY products etc.

 

Sounds like your getting a great deal. You can't buy one in california for anything near that.

Best price I could find in CA was about $7200 OTD. Bought one for the Wife this summer.

CA Raptors have something other than a C or 3 in the 8th digit of the VIN (so they don't get a red sticker when registering.) Dealer's in CA know it and make us pay a premium for it.

Have them throw in a helmet. Almost all of them do that.
