I went to my local dealer to pick up the new z400 because I did not want to spend the extra 1500 on a Raptor. Dealer told me that the z400 price was 5098 plus extra fees. Turned out to be 1300 in extra fees! they wanted 6398 OTD for the z400. I told them no way and started making a fuss. Manager came out and worked price down to 6000 even. I still said no way, not for a 400cc. I told him if I was going to spend that much it would be for a Raptor. That started a whole new deal. In the end I rode out on a 2003 Raptor for 6200 OTD with free hemet and gloves. So now I am a Yamaha Fan.

Thats a hell of a deal! I payed $7000 for my new LE otd, and my bike is only $200 more retail than a non-LE. Good for you bro.

I got my 01 Raptor out from its winter hibernation 3 days ago because of some really warm weather and rode around on the roads for awhile and I still love my 01 Virgin.
