GregV is was barely on the throttle, turning from dirt to pavement.

Thanks for the advice King. It is turning over but doesn't have enough compression to start. There is NO water in my oil.

I just thought of this. The upper radiator hose was leaking earlier in the day. I waited until it cooled down slid it up on the neck, on the motor, a little. When I did this some water came out of the hose. Some how could this have air locked the head and then it gotten too hot? Just a guess.

Ward, the air lock idea is a possibility. I fried a new piston on my polaris due to air lock. I put the engine together and started it up to pump water through. The radiator stayed full until I took off down the road and it melted the rings to the piston.

Sorry to hear about that man.
How do you avoid "air lock". I just don't want to happen to me when i get mine all back together.

waard- load up and come on. I have enough piston/cams/gaskets/valves/seals/carbs to rebuild 20 raptors. Maybe rrc or somebody can put it back together. MAKE IT HAPPEN
