Just trying to help out some fellow motor heads... they need accurate info, not speculation and conjecture...

If there is water in the cylinder still your screwed anyway by the time frame, I am sure ward checked this as soon as it happened. The cracked head by te water jacket sounds about right. ouch! Well anyway good luck to all.

There wasn't anywater in the cylinder, NONE AT ALL. I also can't feel any air/water from around any of the gaskets on the out side. Who knows I guess we will see in a few days.

Ward,

If you have time you could remove the intake valve cover and spin things around until you can see the decompression pin. Give that a look see and you can rule out the assumption I was having. If the pin is fine, no damage etc, then my question about the cam etc is moot.

Lets just hope that it isn't the spark plug boot that cam off. Mine came loose one time and I (for a minute or two) thought I had a real problem.!!

LOL, you want to talk about feeling REALLY stupid, I made all this fuss and it was because I didn't have the spark plug boot on.LOL That would be bad, errrr well actualy that would be good , but .... you get the idea.

wshrdskin, I tried that but couldn't really see the pin that well, not at all actualy. Of course that is when I was steaming right after it happened so I might have just missed something. Nothing in the valve train looks trashed or bent, so that might be a good sign. I just pray that its not a cracked head or cylinder, anything else I think we will be able to fix there.

This is my last post before I leave, I think.
To all that have helped me again THANK YOU.
To all that are not comming, sorry.
And to my wife, who will be at home, I'll miss you and I love you.

I'll see the rest of you on FRIDAY!!!!!!!!!!!yipeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!
