Default Strange......

I clocked my 03 LE Raptor for the first time today. 65MPH. Thats slow as hell! MY warrior got clocked at 65, but it had +1 tooth in front. I checked my gearing, and it is 13/40 on my raptor. My buddys 02 Raptor (BONE stock) got clocked at 76MPH, against the SAME car as I clocked my Raptor against. Kinda weird....... Did my t-4 exhuast bring down my Top speed? Did I break in my Raptor wrong? Any ideas what the problem could be? Thanks

Lata

PS: If I buy a new front sprocket (+1), do I need to buy a new chain?

i would check your plugs .. to see what color they are .. i think this is how it goes . if there black your too lean if there white to much air .. its one or the other either way u would know if it was jetted correctly if your plugs look normal no discoloring ..

just my 02.

when the raptor first came out Pro-circut made the claim that you did not have to re-jet with their complete exhaust, So this might be your problem, only way to find out is to check your jets, You'll need to learn to do this anyway....

Black'n sooty means ur rich. Which would take away from top end. Open the carbs up and see what your mains are.
