Default Reverse light??

Have any of you had a problem with the reverse light either staying on or ramdomly going on and off when not in reverse? I have this problem, and it is annoying. There is plenty of slack in the reverse cable. The lever that is at the motor end of the cable is as far back as it can go. What do I need to do to stop this from happening? Any help would be appreciated.

I am 15 minutes from mx338. Way on the other end of the state from you.. There is state owned land in Pittsfield(45 minuted further) that is all legal riding, but do not think there are any mx tracks on the land. A friend of mine has a mx track in his yard that we pratice at..

If you let the quad idle over 2000 RPM for more than a few minutes the rev. light will start flashing that is normal.

It sounds like your elec connection at the rev switch is loose

Mine has been on solid for over a year.. my neutral lite no longer works either.

There are 2 little plunger switches through the side of the motor that interface with the shiftdrum, they go bad occasionally and arent that bad to replace It just doesnt bother me enough. It doesnt have anything to do with the cable or lever down at the motor, thats a "lockout" only.

It look's like it's indicating something, not like bad connection.
