slip-on vs full system
#1
i just got off the phone with yosh and what was interesting was the slip-on with stock pipe produced about 1 ft.lb of torque more than the full sytem and about 1.9 less horsepower . If you add the horse power and torque then devide by two a full system produced about 1/2 a hosepower more than a slip-on. The guy at yoshimura agread that on a raptor it really wasn't worth the extra money for the full system over a slip-on. I'm kinda of curious what everyone thought are on this?

There's plenty of torque with the full system,I can start at the bottom of most hills and just hit the gas ,No need for more torque has plenty...

I decided to go with the full Yosh because I wanted a complete, end-to-end, leak-free system. I was tired of leaky slip-ons. Also, even though it's not much, the Yosh head pipes are .25" larger dia than stock - maybe makes for a slight gain !?
