Default oversized valves

I am getting ready to tear into my motor on my raptor due to some tranny problems and why im in there i am going to put a high compression piston and cam in it and get the head ported! I might put over sized valves in it to depending on what kind of power gain it will give me. Has anybody put oversized valves in there raptor and if so is it worth the 250 dollars for the valves plus what ever the labor may cost?

Default oversized valves

from the built raptors ive seen with oversize valves, it didnt help them at all.
i think it looks great on paper but the engine builder has to know what he is doing if he wants any gains

That is right if the engine builder does not know what he is doing it is a waste of time and money. I would just port and polish the head and open up the bowl area in the intake and exhaust. Just because you have bigger valves does not mean you will not get better flow and anyway unless you go big bore I won't worry about it.
The bowl area has to be opened up by what you are looking for.
