Wolverine vs. Scrambler 500 4x4
#1
Yea, i was wondering, my cousin just got his wolverine fixed and it hauls ***.... he beat a trailblazer 250, Arctic Cat 250, and an Explorer 400 4x4 on the trails and in drags and i was surprised, i might be getting a 99 Scrambler 500 4x4 and i want to know if i will be able to beat him on the high speed trails, gravel roads, and in drags (these machines will be stock), thanks

If the scram is running properly then you should have no trouble beating him in the straights, trails is going to be more about the rider, if riders of equal skill then you should have no problem.

I had a 98 wolverine until last year, and from experience it would beat up on the polaris 400 and 500 scrambler 4x4's out on the trails. In the straight line drag races the polaris's would always start pulling away after about 75 yards. The wolverine is faster on the trails because it is smaller and lighter than the scramblers, plus you can pick what gear you want to be in.

A scrambler in a straight line is pretty close to a 400ex....a tad slower.
