Default 35mm FCR or alcohol

ive been reading up on alcohol mods to a stock carb...seems simple enough to do,
but also considered buying the 35mm fcr's sounds like the alcohol would be a cheaper
way to go...i know you have to change the oil more often and re-ring maybe every year
but the extra hp should be worth the while Anyone running alky on rappy????

Have you done any mods to your engine. If you have not it would be a waist of money to go to alcohol, no compression. If your buying 35mm FCR's again waist of money. An engine with little or no mods could not use the full airflow that those carbs put out. If you had a 727 then that would be a different story.

How about the FCR's on alky?! The FCR is the best 4-stroke carb in my opinion and is easily changed to alky.

Ernie is right about the compression.
