Doubt ill part it out, did a lil investigation on it and I think its just a bent exhaust valve.

Man that sucks, hope its only a burnt Valve and not anything serious. I know you havent really put much seat time into the new engine yet. Good Luck with it man..

Ok, heres what happened. Obviously a warrior has no rev limiter, clutch slipped, it reved into the stratosphere because of the porting, free flowing pipe, and top end cam. The exhaust valve hit the piston, and got bent. That huge boom sound I heard was just a backfire not my engine exploding.

why? I was already really close to the rappy hp range (I had 30-32 hp), which is more than enough for where I ride. A third gear wheelie with my 15 tooth front sproket wasnt very hard. Found out its not going to cost me but about 200 or so to fix it, maybe less depending on if I do the labor and if I get new rocker arms just to be safe.

raptor = 34 (31-32 is pretty close), but they weigh more. I amplified the weight difference by removing the warriors HUGE heavy muffler and changed out the bumper. Pretty much its equal with a stock rappy, might get taken on top end depending on how well its jetted. But overalll its so close I shouldnt notice. Cept I have no torque. Gotta remember im talking about a bone stock just off the show room floor rappy. When I get it put back together ill drag the guy who I share a riding spot with. Seat of the pants they feel about the same. Power to weight ratios say the rappy should have a lil bit of top end on me so Ill make sure its a short drag race
