From the shoot out that Dirt Wheels did a yera ago the 400ex was
the slowest in it's class with the 660Raptor, 350twin Shee and some other quads
I can't remember. The banshee had the highest top speed. So if you get a good
launch and stay with it you <u>should</u> beat the 440ex. Tell us what the out come is.

 

I really don't think the 400ex has a chance unless you stand it up and have to back out of the throttle, which i did on Raptor racing a Z400.LOL

 

i beat a lrd440 when my banshee was 3 days old(no mods). if you get pipes and want a drag bike get cpi drag pipes but if you want a pipe for spanking toomey banshees on the drag and screamin on the straits then get fmf sst pipes with power core II silencers for top end but if you want a trail bike get the shorty silencers.

 

well he is getting his bike built at a local dealer, and he won't tell me what all they are doing to it. i am buying toomey pipes, but not untill spring. we got alot of snow, and i'm not sure hwen we'll do it but when we do i'll post it. i hope i don't lose, but i realy don't think i have to worry, and when i get the toomey's i think i'm really gonna put a urten on him.

Opened up reed cages with fiber reeds, bored carbs, pipes, heads with different chamber designs, you know just the normal spare banshee parts[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img].

I now recommend CPI pipes for any banshee. You should see my friends dyno sheet.

do not get toomeys like i said fmf for bottom and top or cpi for drag racing toomeys won't beat the fmf sst and definitely not the cpi drag pipes or in-frame drag pipes. i advise you not to get the toomeys man. especially if you want to do more mods later. www.cpiracing.com visit it. a banshee with v-force reed cages, dyna fs ignition,boost bottle, and toomey pipes can't beat a banshee with only fmf sst's.take my advice.please.

 

two questions....... what does a boost bottle do, and is it it worth the money? and secondly, why haven't i heard more people talking about using the AMP link?

 

Justdragit, how much do you want to wager that my banshee with stock reed cages, dyna ignition, and Pro-circuit pipes will walk all over a banshee with just your prized SST's. I even have a set of toomey T-3's or have access to a set of Toomey T-5's if you want me to bring them along for comparison.

Boost bottle and amp link don't do ****. They are a waste.

 

ok, other than it's "a waste" and "doesn't do ****," can someone please tell me what exactly a boost bottle does, or is supposed to do?
