Buffing controls to a chrome-like shine?
I am not sure where but I remember in one of these topics somebody talking about being able to buff your metal to an almost chrome shine (like the hydrolic brake flid box) and other metal controls, etc. Don't know anything about it looking for knowledge

Actually I send my stuff out but you can polish it yourself with a buffiung wheel and polish. It is a whole lot of work but you can do it.
Just go to your auto parts store and let them know what you want to acheive they should have everything to get the job done!

CTATV: It really has alot to do with the type of polish too. I use a special formula from a place here in vegas, but I heard that mirror bright from alba works well too. Just get ready for a lot of elbow grease.

I'll look into it. I was planning on only doing some small things like the hydrolic brake box on the handlebars and the thumb throttle assembly. It's a wolverine I don't plan on doing the whole thing. Will it wear out the buffing pad fast? Should I take the black paint off first and then buff it? Will it rust if I don't get to polishing it for a while?
