Default Dealer Smashed my atv: 2 choices- what would you choose?

Don't settle for anything less than a new bike!!! they started out with their offer tell them yourself you want new bike for free, they will probably say no, then simply say you will have your lawyer call them. If it comes to it you can have a lawyer make a call to gather info for proably $40 worth evey penny. I would have given you different advise if they would have just called you up and said "hey we are sorry you wheeler has been damaged and we will make it right" but these guys sound like some real low lifes and need push!!!!

I would have to disagree about the $40.00 things, scum bags I mean lawyers are expensive. I had mine write me a letter and it cost $125.00 cost me another $75.00 for him to go eat lunch with the defendants lawyer.
Good luck take the new wheeler for what he offered.

update

story is 1 of the mechs tipped the bike while test driving and it only did 1/4 turn.

i paid 7300$cdn plus taxes

i figure b/c it has 500kms on it he can turn it for about 6000$ easy

yamaha canada said they would do everything possible to help dealer get me a new bike- i.e. cost for dealer
plus maybe some interest free deal on 1 of his showroom bikes for a few months.

do you figure by charging me 520$cdn plus tax he's making money or losing, and how much?

i really wish i could find out cost on one.
