well i have raced predatators and beat them all,Piped and stock,they did get me on the flat drags a few times but i still got them sometimes...Do a search on fsw video and there is a video of me beating one at fsw up comp hill,he got the holeshot but i came back...I think the Predator is the closest thing to a raptor besides the DS and i like them both ,but i still wouldent trade..[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

 

Stock verses stock in the seating department the predator doesn't feel
right and when you sit on the Raptor it feels correct.

The seat tank area on the predator why was it designed this way?

 

Wildchild; I love it! It rips! If you check with Wshrdskn he has the same setup and the dyno run for this combination, I think it was like 54HP, with no porting!

It was the best increase in power for my quad. The pipe jets filter route was nice but this was even better.

Well I don't know I have never ridden either of the two so I am going by what the magazines say I know I know magazines say some pretty dumb things. But in a recent magazine I can't remember which one they drag raced the z400, predator, raptor, c-dale. The raptor consistently took the lead over the predator, the c-dale and the z-400 so I don't know. They claim the only time the raptor lost is when an inexperienced rider dumped the clutch and brought the front end up then it would lose. So there you go!!

 

Man, when you start out I don't know Ivenever ridden either maybe you should post on something you do know...like the warrior. Great bike I had one. Besides bing close enough that in a drag the rider makes a diffrence a Raptor will not corner like the Predator...nothing will

alright ... how much did you pay for the piston and cam and how much was labor $$$ to put it in ? I realy wanna do that to mine but need to know how much it will cost first ? How much more HP will it get with a ported head and will it run better with the head ported ? thanks for your help

 

Wild i have a .5 mm bore with wiesco 11:1 and stage 2 web cam, with pro flow air filter, big gun pipes and new springs. Im not sure on stage 1 cam but stage 2 you need new springs - cam = 140-180, springs = 130-170, piston = 130-170, plus rebuild parts. My firgures might be wrong maybe someone else can answer this.

 

BTW there is a HUGE power diference with the cam and piston.
