At that cost you might as well order a spare for your tool box...if you only replace you are sure to bend another, keep one on hand and I'm sure it won't ever be used...(thats my luck anyhow)

Default Bent Tie Rod

I bent so many tie rods that I finally zip tied an extra one onto my front bumper. That way if I bend one out in the middle of nowhere, 5 minutes and I am going again. If I bend one during a 2 hour XC race, 5 minutes and I am going again insead of a DNF.

Last race I bent a tie rod end, so I ponied up the $$ for the American Star Pro-Racer tie rods and ends. I think I would rip the a-arms out of the frame before these things bend. IMO, $140 is worth not having to be worried about getting stranded in the middle of nowhere.

Bigger your dead on, its just hard for me to admit to it.

RR1 are those the same rods that come with the American Star a-arms? If so the rods do look tuff but its the same ends I have problems with. I saw those a-arms in person the other day ,on Starky's bike, WOW nice arms!!!
