home depot or sears has them in the tool dept. maybe even lowes. It is a kit with 3 polishing wheels and 4 little clay bars red white brown and black.

If all this seems like to much work you can just send them out to a polishing place and get it done .
The polishing kit they are talking about works great and costs about 50.00
I send all my stuff out as a dealer for a chrome shop.
If you really want the cat's pajamas have them chromed when you get done polishing them.

I agree with turbo polish is nice but a real pain. I am polishing my foot pegs right now, they are steel so i know it wont last until the first time i ride it but i will eventually get them chromed with some other stuff. Just dont feel like wasting the money yet.

Ya, but are they steel or alum? Cause I know you can chrome both.

My son did his side cover on his dale yesterday. He used some old carb cleaner I had in the garage to strip the paint then some very light sanding and then he put it on the polishing wheel on our 8" grinder with compound. Took about three hours and looks like it came from the pro polisher. I don't know if you can even buy the carb cleaner any more?

AHH! lol are the Raptor side covers steel or alum?? If they are just alum I'll polish them myself, if they are steel I'll have them chromed cause they will rust bad.
