Default +4 Swing arm Questions

Well for those of you who think i dont need a +4 arm this is what i have to say, i plan on porting and polishing the head, getting the carbs tapered, possibly getting a turbo kit, new valves with a 5 angle valve job. Right now my swing arm is stock and it pops wheelies in 4th gear without any effort on my part. When i drag my starts are very slow because most of the time im riding out the wheelies.

well since you plan on a turbo and porting and all of the other good stuff i would say a +4 would be good. you'll have to let us all know what that turbo dynos at when you get it done. sounds like you might be the new big boy in town.

Well its always fun to have a little bit of a wheelie machine, but im thinking of just doing a +4 because it seems to be a good middle man... I dont know if i want to jump up to a +6 because it might be too long for trail riding and just messing around. Blue, will mike do a +4 on the stock swing arm?

Tucker pro arm would be a great choice. His prices are not set in stone you can negotiate.
I paid 350 for a powdercoated +2 tucker arm with no skid tabs. Tucker threw in the caliper mounting plate(usually runs 45 bucks) for free

45 bucks extra for pivot bearings and seals
Went on ebay and found a used round housing dual row banshee LSR carrier for 100 bucks.

Cost me 495 for swingarm and carrier ready to mount. Not bad.
You got to get a new chain though. Get a gold x ring fron DID

Tucker will tell you his +2 weighs 17.8 lbs with a carrier but this is not the case. The stock arm and carrier weighed 18lbs on my digital scale. The tucker pro arm with carrier weighed 18.6 on my scale. It is still lighter and just as strong as lsr and american star racing arms.
My black swingarm is sweet. I am satisfied with Tucker.
