what kind of HP are you putting out. im not too familiar with how those mods will increase the performance of your bike, but i question if its enough to require a +4 swingarm. i guess you can say im a little anti-extended swingarm, especially since i prefer duning over dragging. although i do understand there are instances when it necessary. but to save you money and traction, try adjusting your seating position or your clutch release on take-off. if teh front end comes up a bit so what.. SAC UP BRO AND RIDE THAT WHEELIE!!!!!

you want to put a +4 on a raptor? Man, i agree, sack up son and ride that biatch. Id stick with the same arms, maybe even go +2 on your front arms and that'll help you out. I doubt you'll need +4 on a raptor though

I have a +4 and LOVE it! I didn't need to extend any brake lines or anything what so ever, so thats nice. I have a slightly modded bike and with the +4 you pop wheelies when you WANT to pop them (ie: pull up on the bars), unlike the stock length where it will pop them unexpectedly. That is one thing I miss though about the stock length, the fact that you can pop wheelies easy. that was half the fun!! But I can still get it up pretty easy

That was a good one Beech. i'd go with a +2 if that's all you're gonna do to the motor. if you do decide to mod it some more i'd go +3. when i had my rappy i didn't like trying to race it because it tried to endo due to the mods.

I've had good luck with my Motoquad +3 swingarm. It's well built and I have no worries about it. For a powdercoated +4, with the new billet round housing is $695. They also have bare arms or can get them chromed. I'm not sure what the exact differences in price are off the top of my head. I agree... running tree lines on the Oregon coast is a blast and in order to steer coming out of them, it's almost a must to have a swingarm.
If you need to get ahold of Motoquad the number is (503)623-8400. They also make some VERY nice A-arms that don't use the threaded ball joints. They use the stock Raptor joints, which have proven to be a good part. I'm waiting for mine to get finished right now!
Yee Haw, get it on!!!
