What is your ritual to clean your bike?
I ride dunes and desert so it is not too tough to get it clean.
first make sure you have a cold 6 pack and some good tunes....
1) hose it off
2) fill a bucket with hot water and some lemon Joy.
3) scrub it down with a wash mitt
4) hit the chain with WD40
5) hose it off
6) blast the water out of the tight spots with my leaf blower Caddy Shack style!
7) go over it with a towel.
8) hit the plastic with 2001 protectant
9) hit the chain again with WD40 to get water out, and use an old rag to dry it
10) coat the chain with chain wax.

Okay, so I am blonde and don't quite get the jokes,am I missing something here?
On another note, I really only ride in the sand and the Armor All says it has the anti static, so thought it would repel any dust sand, and make it easy to wash off.
Also, my husband and I have a long going debate on the chain. He won't let me do anything to it. I sprayed WD-40 on my Warrior chain once in a little spot and washed it off and yes mass amounts of sand stuck to that spot. So what to do? Have heard many things on this topic, and just not sure what to believe. We just leave ours alone!
Anyway, I will definitly be trying the 2001.
P.S. Has anyone figured out what to do about the white stress marks on blue plastic?
Thanks Again,
And Ride Hard

the dealer in my town uses a product made by motul that says silicone clean. i am going to get a can to try it out, you would have to see how shiney the plastic is after appling. he said it makes cleaning after riding a lot quicker since it is a silicone based product.
