Raptor Mods
#1
I'm turning 18 in April, and i'm hoping to buy a Raptor. I am wondering what mods I could make to it so it is race worthy. Could anyone help me and give some suggestions or reccomendations?

Around here, GNCC is very tight trails and the Raptor is one of the more narrow sport ATVs so you're good there. I'd get full skids (GYT-R, PRM, Pro Armor), different gearing like 12/44, good nerf bars, and 22" rears for ground clearance. If you go wider to get more stability, you'll have trouble in the tight sections. MX requires wider front and rear for stability, 20" rear tires, no skids, and better shocks. The MX track is wider than the GNCC trail but you have to jump if you want to race MX. HP upgrades are easy on a Raptor no matter what kind of riding.

I would go with GNCC you get more riding time then MX. it last alot longer......
I would go with a better shocks, pipe,k/n fliter, PRM skid plate, body armor. Taller tires like 22".
Have fun
