Please help, Apology first!
#1
I want to apologize first for revisiting this question.
I have search back through the archives and have found many, many, many articles on pipes. There are so many it is overwhelming and some are quit dated. With the ever growing technology maybe some things have change which brings me to my question.
I have a stock 2001 Raptor, and do not plan on entering the engine any time in the future as long as it stays glued together. With that said you now know I will not be boring, stroking, camming, or things like that. I want your opinion on the top choices for pipes giving good power, good looks, and low maintenance. I would prefer a slip on unless I need the after market header, remember the engine will remain stock. I am also installing a filter kit and jet kit.
All of your advice is appreciated.
BigBlack.

All pipes will wake the Raptor up. I have an E-series and would recommend it.....it's an excellent set-up. Research around on pipes for any 4 stroke....performance wise, the e-series is consistantly near the top every time. I would like too try a full Alien set-up as well.
You wanna keep that 01 Rap together? Stop using reverse. Research my previous posts concerning reverse and the 01 Rap.

I like the looks fit finish and sound of my yoshi and the fact that you use the stock heat shields. But if I were to try something else it would be the MBRP and it sounds like it fits your wants.
It does'nt need repacking.
From what's been said it has a nice sound and not loud
You can get the slip-on and ad the head pipe later (most others you can't)
Good luck there's a lot to chose from.

mbrp or yoshi i like. All the white bros pipe seem to do real well in shootouts. I am not a fan of disc systems.
