aviation gas in raptor?

You'll notice who wrote the article. Someone who sells race gas.....
I an speaking from EXPERIENCE, not from what I've heard or read.
Yes, it can cause a lazy throttle response, but a timing advance takes care of that right away.
I would rather spend 2.35/gallon for Av-gas than to spend 5.50 or more/gallon for Race fuel that will not give me (in my riding situations) any better performance.
Like I said, it was also what my motor builder recommended, and HE used to run race fuel!
He has no special interest in either side, and therefore, I respect his opinion.
Like I said, EXPERIENCE using the product.
I know I'll probably get flamed now, but I speak what I know to be true from my own experience. Not what I've read or heard.

Alright well it sounds liek you know what you guys are talkin about here so im not going to run it. The reason i was askin is becuase we have some for our 250r and i thought it was pretty much the same as race fuel so i wanted to try it BUT I GUESS NOT ANYMORE. thanks for warning me about it. 2fun - the only thing is you run it in your 250r, like we do, but i was wondering about it for my raptor.

If you going to the dune this weekend you can buy the race gas in Reedsport where NAPA is and I think they are selling around 3.85 a gallon that what I pay for back in Aug. Still cheap there instead here..... Have fun.
