Mechanical Engineer Airraptor- hot Cams recomends higher octane. I am glad that we have you to rely on. You have a stage 2 in your 727?? and only produce 62HP. Man your head work must be terible. When in doubt follow the manufactures recomendations. They know a little more than a private.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] But since he is a genius, one question air- Of all the motor builders out there, how do you rate Craycraft??

the person to ask is WhoDatInDaMud. He's a pilot as well as an ATV enthusiast. He can fill you in on the technical info about AV gas.

Default aviation gas in raptor?

ok sorry guys im getting a little confused here. Will running aviation gas in my raptor hurt it at all ? thats my question. Also will there be any power increase that i will be able to notice otherwise its not worth it.

DO NOT USE AV GAS at all!! It not worth it.... plain and simple.

Default aviation gas in raptor?

i read somewhere that AV gas is what it is because it has to cope with teh properties of burning at high altitudes as well as moisture developing in teh fuel tanks.. IMO. dont run it.. i agree with airraptor; you pay to play adn that doesnt stop when you write the check to your engine builder but also applies to maintnance, upkeep and fuel
