Default 2 stroke oil

I run yamalube at 32:1 since the Banshee was new over 3 years ago. Compression is still great and the cylinders look perfect. I know a guy that runs outboard motor oil in his old late 80's suzuki 250R and it still has the original top-end. Personally, I think all the name brand oils work fine and it would be hard to tell a difference. You gotta figure this stuff goes in, floats around a while in the crankcase and gets blown out pretty quickly so it doesn't need to be long lasting like 4 stroke oils.

Mercury's outboard oil is all I have ever run. Outboard oil is desidned for high RPM heavy load applications (the only motor that is pinned more than my quads is my boat). My builder and the mechanics at the boat dealership that I worked at for years all tell me that the cleanest motors they have ever seen are running outboard oil. I have switched to the new synthetic Merc stuff, but I am not convinced that syn. is the way to go, still working on it.
