The thing is it is a school project and I don't really want to spend much more than 2000 on it. I have 5000 in the bank. I am really at a dilema because I found the perfect quad and I called to offer on it and some guy bougt it for what I was gonna offer like 3 hours before I called

 

and oh yea, all the banshees in my state bargain news are not below like 2900. I'm looking for one that was beaten a little but has an engine in good shape. I know not that easy to find. the one I found before was an 89 lt500 for like 1700 bucks. had the engine top and bottom just rebuilt, new tires all around. and I rode it.

it looks dirty as hell man. i think it will be a pain in the a$$. it looks like he didn't take very good care of it at all. i'd give him $1200 for it at most.

Yes, the black and yellow one is filthy. That is what i said above, if he does not even clean it up to put it for sale, what has he done to the inside of it.

But, for a project if you could get it cheap enough it might be ok.
