the gear ratios are diff on 02 trannys?
how much of a diff cuz i have a 01 tranny and i love the way its gear for what i do but i am changin over to a 02 when it goes[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img]

 

I think only 2nd gear is different, not sure though.

 

1st and second gear are lower...you will be shifting more with the 02 gears....but it doesnt look like anyone can get an 01 gear to stay together. So we get stuck with the crappy 02 gears:/

 

Not to scare anyone but, I did replace my 2001 tranny with a 2002 and STILL had problems!
2nd gear just won't hold up. Because that is the one going out again.
It's slips a little at first then gets worse the more you use it.
So rather then go through the expense and down time of repairing it AGAIN I'm just trading mine off.
With full discloser on what the tranny is doing.
The Raptor makes nice power and mine was one of the fastest and most powerful,
But it still is no Banshee .
Next on my list is the trinity racing 525 PV kit for my Banshee making over 125 HP ..Then I might be happy
