weather was perfect. lots of people at blow sand saturday night. race alot of different bikes. beat every warrior and two banshees(the banshee riders weren't very good). was anyone else out there?

 

What is Blow Sand? Where in Ocatillo Wells is it. Is it sand drags? TIA

 

it's west of glamis and salton sea. and blow sand it a sand hill that everybody gathers at to drag at.

 

I know where Ocatillo Wells is. We camp just north of it off North Marina drive west of Salton City. We ride over to Ocatillo Wells but I don't recall a sand hill large enough to drag race up. As you come in the entrance to Ocatillo Wells off the highway where is the hill in relation to the entrance? TIA

 

if you enter off the 78 onto main st it is northwest. just above the ranger station.

 

Ah, I see, your at the other end of Ocatillo Wells. We are off the 86S. Take the Anza Borrego road west for a few miles and there is an entrance to Ocatillo Wells off of that road. You are farther down the 86S and off the 78.

 

it's about 15 miles down from the 86
