Default Grizz 600? should I?

I have a buddy how is offering his 2001 600 to me for 3k, and I might even be able to talk him into including the blade, which would be nice after the 22inches we just got over the weekend.
It's not in bad shape, a little crack in the plastic, and the brushguard is bent a little from pushing people
so should I go for it?
I'm going to look at it tonight
I was in the market for a new quad, trading the old one off, but I might keep the old one and just get this one.

Having experience with the grizzly 600, I would say get a new one!!!!!! The 600 is a good 4X4 if youre using for utility purposes only (such as farmwork like i use mine). Its suspension is TERRIBLE, it will absolutely beat you to death on a long ride. They also dont like water! I got mine stuck in a small mudhole and it started cuttting out badly. Later found out that I had mud and water in the carbs. Again, a good 4X4 but not for trail riding!! Definitely get a newer 4X4 with the independent rear suspension.

It's a powerful quad with lots of grunt. It should be worth a lot more than 3 grand. I'd buy it if it's in good condition.
