What combo should I go with on a 03 raptor with alien pipe and headers, dynojet stage II kit, and pro design kit with K&N without Airbox?12:1 with stage2 Hotcam, springs and valves, or 11:1 with stage1 ????stage2 hotcam with springs. Also should I replace the rod while i'm in there. How hard is it for someone with minimal (Very minimal) mechanical experience to do the work?

 

The rod can't be replaced without splitting the cases. You have to seprate the crank to replace the rod. As for the other questions. If you go Stage 2 go 12:1 If you go Stage 1 go 11:1. JMO

The piston cam stage 1 you can do your self with some mechanical knowledge. The stage 2 with springs will require more kinowledge and valve spring compressing tool.
