spark plugs

Default spark plugs

i was just wondering what type of plug everyone runs in there shee or anything for that matter. does it really make a difference to change to a different style plugs. right now i am running the plain old ngk plug, but want to know if any powere is to be gained by switching to a different plug?

I run NGK's BR9EIX Iridium plugs in both of my banshees. They are about 10 bucks a pop though.

You will be fine with BR9ES or BR8ES.

Another good plug that is around 6 bucks is BR8EG's. You can NOT foul these.

you do not need th "r" just a b8es or what ever but you dont need the "r" it cost more for the resister and you done have a true lighting system on a banshee.

CT is right. I had forgot I was running the resistor plugs just because I have the Dyna.

hi can any one tell me what is the difrance. in the NGK's BR9EIX Iridium plugs and the BR8EIX Iridium plugs can theas be install to a 2003 banshee stock one .

The number is the heat range. With NGK plugs, the lower the number, the hotter the plug. With a stock banshee, 8's are fine. I run 9's due to my ignition timing, fuel, etc.
