Don't have time to list all but my favs are:
GLOCK 40 CAL
REM MOD 700 ADL W/ LEUPOLD SCOPE
KNIGHT CAMO WOLVERINE
COLT 357 TROOPER
RUGER 357 GP STAINLESS
BROWNING AUTO 12 LITE
Just bought a great "pack" gun for 4-wheelin (never know what you'll run up on around here). It's a new Charter 2000 Bulldog pug 44 special. That thing is very compact, lite and accurate and inexpensive. Only bad part is, that is what Son of Sam used to oft peaple.

The AK's are just to say I have them. I hate shooting them, but they look cool. The SKS's are because they can be bought for about $100 (my first one was $80) and the shells are cheap. I can go into a gun shop and buy 20 rounds of 7.62X39 for $3 or 20 rounds of Weatherby's 300mag Nosler for $50! Me and my friends like to shoot at targets of different kinds. Why you ask? Well, I don't dove hunt much, but I still break a couple of boxes of clay targets each year for fun. Its the same principle.
Also, I dropped my first deer with an SKS at about 50 yards.

Thats cool. That is pretty much what I had expected for replies. I can understand the factor of protection behind then for sure. I wouldnt use the Sako unless I was in the hills and could pick them off from a distance. Thats what i have the 9mm for.
By the way to say the 7MM STW is derived from the 375 H&H is close but actually wrong. The 7MM STW came from the 8MM Rem Mag. Which did come from the .375 yes but had much forming to get it there. During development Ken Jarrot along with Shooting Times Magazine used 2 main loads, the 8MM and also the 300 Weatherby Mag cases. They chose the 8mm due to cheaper brass being available and more manufactures with the right action and had nearly identicle performance. Weatherby had produced a 7mm-300 for a very short time in the 80's but didnt get much response due to lack of bullets(in lighter weights) that could hold up to that velocity in the .284 cal bullets.

for packin, 4wheelin etc, i carry a ruger p90dc .45 under the seat.
i also have a shoulder holster for my small frame 9mm firestar.
since i have 'the permit' i can carry it.
