Default FCR carb question?

I have never actually seen these fancy FCR carbs that everyone is talking about, so I have one quick question. Do you have to take the carbs off the quad to change jetting? If not, $800-1000 would be worth it to me. Thanks!

yes and no...its actually easier to pull the carbs, they do have drain plugs on the bottem but getting the jets back in is a pain!also it damn near impossible to adjust the fuel mixure screws with the carbs on also im still looking for that perfect tool.

No you don't have to remove the carbs and it is a 5 min job to replace the jets. Mac makes a tool and I think its Tucker atv is where I got mine from. It is a $100 tool but its worth every penny.

5 min? what the hell you smoking?itll take a hour for the pipe to cool down so you can get to the right carb without burning your arm!ive bought every tool i can find from snap-on/matco/mac non of them work that great, that hot oil line on the left feels real good also

The tool I got is from tucker rocky distributing. It cost 125 and handles 50 inch lbs of torque. It comes with a 6mm bit and a 1/4 drive bit. I have trinity pipe which comes off by removing 1 bolt and i can get to the carbs from the right side. "HOT" It is a very easy process with the fcr's. It is a 5 minute job.
