I wont comment on the pipes, because I have not owned either one of those brands.

On the air filter, for hp the carb mount will deliver more air and if you jet accordingly, you will make more power. If you ride through water or mud, you might want to retain the airbox.

I have the Pro-circuits on my playbike. THey are awesome. They have a great midrange and still rev out good. I haven't ran the trinitys, but if I was buying another set for this bike, I would look back to the PC's or maybe the new Toomey T-6 when it is released in a couple of months.

There are so many variables in jetting it is hard to tell. Right now, I have t5's, carb mount filters, stock reeds, no spacers, coolhead with 18cc domes and run a 290 at little sahara utah. It is about 4000-5000 ft there. I usually drop one here in my town, to a 280. the elevation is 6000-7000 ft.

My bike runs real good.

It depends mostly on elevation. I dont think the reeds require different jetting.

If I were at sea level or close to it, I would have 330 jets are close to it.

On the pipe question, I have read that the trinity pipe is similar to the t5 in the power. I dont really know. I do like the finish of the trinity pipe, stainless, and the look of them.

I have a Trinity on my Z and it really is good. I love everything about it but its on a 4 stroke so I caint say anything about them on 2 strokes but I have heard that Toomys are the best and Pro Circuit Platinum are right behind.
