Default Sand Dune Tire Question!

At any rate changing the number of paddles won't help your cause.
Put a 12 tooth sprocket on front and see how you like it. Gearing (sprockets and tire size) is the only way to get up the hill better....unless you add more horsepower.

I'm with Blue Leader on this one. If they really are Dyno Jet jets then it seems WAY to rich! That seems close if it were Minkuni jets.

Default Sand Dune Tire Question!

"Wheel speed" is the key in the dunes. Optimizing the wheel speed-to-power puzzle takes a little time and tweaking.

I agree that gearing is the answer.

The quickest change/test is probably to pop a 12T on the front and try it. That's an easy mod back at camp - 1 beer later its changed, chain adjusted and tested. If it's too much of a change you can goof with the rear sprocket and find a place in the middle. Check out the sprocket chart on Sidewinder's site so you know the exact numbers.

Odly enough, i doubt it is rich guys, trust me ive tried a bunch of diferent jets on it and these dont have any sputter at the sand dunes, no backfiring, no sputtering, no black smoke. I doubt it is the jets, someone who has similar mods want to help me out on this one?

I checked the plug about 8 times, it is a dark tan color with white spots on the edge of base.
