Default Raptor Edelbrock carb

I have installed it and have started it. It seems to run good up and down my street but that is all that I have been able to run so far. I don't live very close to an area where I can test it. I do have a trip to Winchester Bay planned for the 28th-30th of March. I will have a report for everyone when I return.

I talked to Duncan Racing who said they plan on selling the Edelbrock carb but they are currently testing it & won't offer it until the results are out. I respect that since most distributors don't test a product before they sell it. I'll wait for there results, maybe they'll offer a good price too. I know what the others are offering it for but to save a few bucks only to get a possible lemon is not worth the $$ saved!

I just went to Duncan Racing's website and they have them for sale!!! I also contacted Edelbrock and they are supposed to have their dyno graphs in their new catalog. I should be receiving one any day now.

Well, I am packed and ready to go to Winchester Bay in the morning for my test trip. I will be putting the carb to the test. I have it dialed in pretty good so far. I will let you guys know how it went next week.

So I guess Monday we will all be wanting that group rate price you worked out,if you come back with good results. Chimmer I thought you have some secret mod for the stock carbs. Why are you checking into this?

Good point dfitz but I posted this before I made the big discovery. Still wouldn't mind trying the carb but not for $600 plus.... Will wait for one from Ebay, LOL.....

Now was it a big part discovery, or big discovery of a little part, or a discovery of a big part you take alittle off of, or a little part you take a little off of that made it a big discovery. Just thought I would ask.
