Default New Raptor owner...what is the best exhaust.

Hello everyone.

I just bought a Raptor,( coming from a CR500), and I was wondering what is the best exhaust system to buy. I've been told too many different opinions so I thought I would join and ask the right people with experience.

Thanks in advance,
Jeff

Dirt wheels did a pipe shootout for the Raptor a year ago. The Ct made the most horsepower. But the curtis sparks pipe is very nice too. Real loud though.

I guess it depends on your definition of "best".....I was looking for a well made, good performing (not necessiarily the ultimate HP gains but no slouch), long lasting, properly fitting, no leaks, good bang-for-the-buck package.

I went with the Yosh full comp (stainless) system. I am not disappointed and very impressed with the OVERALL performance and quality. Dirt wheels had similar conclusions (if ya care what they say !?).....

Yosh is a safe bet IMO !

I perfer mbrp but most of the pipes are pretty good. Try to find that pipe shoot out article and use your common sence and you can pick a good one.

go ride your new Raptor and see first hand what others have. that way you will be able to see and hear other pipes and ask others in person what they like or dislike about their systems. I bought a pipe the day I got my quad and over time I realized it was not what I wanted for the type of riding I do.

i ride with several raptor s and out of the lrd fmf and yosh they all seem to think the yoshi works best, and that was the pick of the magazine article i read, but from what i've seen almost any pipe is going to help over that stock one, we mainly ride in the sand, so this could be different else where. i like the fmf myself for the noise around them the guy did something to the yoshi and it is to loud!

I vote on the Yosh too, but I think you would be happy with most all of the pipes out there, all better then the stocker. I think the biggest factor would be how loud you want it, some aren't too bad and others are way loud.
