Default Raptor rear brake adjustment?

On my last ride my rear brake pedal was bottoming out and only causing me to slow down and not locking the rear tires (if needed), I figured cheap stock pads wore out already (only 40 hrs), but I checked last night and there still meaty about 5-6 mm still left, my manual says to replace when down to 1-2 mm. and the only adjustments the manual lists for the rear brakes are parking and pedal height, My question is could raising the pedal height correct this or is there some other adjustment there not listing. I don't mind buying brakes, I just hate thinking something is not right.

you might need steel brake lines! Do you ride the brakes? Or use them alot? If so you could be getting the brake fluid hot. It will get really hard to stop if needed when the fluid is hot. Just a thought

By doing the parking brake adjustment it also adjust your rear brake pedal, just undo the lock nut on you ajusting bolt and turn it clockwise a half turn and check your brake pedal keep repeating until it feels good for you

Default Raptor rear brake adjustment?

Thanks, for your replies but after adjusting the brakes as much as I could, I was still unhappy with the soft pedal and decided to bleed the brake lines just in case and ........BINGO, lots of air in the rear brake line, don't know how it they got there but does this make sense: was jetting, doing plug chops which had me hitting the brakes at 70+ MPH caused the fluid to boil over and create air bubbles??? anyway the brakes are perfect now and just thought I'd share this little bit of info.
