Raptor vs. ???
I'm brand new to this board, and I owned a Raptor for a short while and ended up selling it. Don't ask why! I kept my KTM 250EXC, then got married and should have kept the Raptor without a question, but at the time didn't know I was getting married. At any rate, I'm trying to decide what to get. I've heard about the 700 Kawasaki and the others, but I'm not sure. Anyone have any recommendations?

Raptor vs. ???
I can wait, but we all know how that goes. I would think Honda would come out with something to compete with the big bores, and I'm interested to see what they come out with for sure. I do mostly trail riding, with my wife I might add, and a lot of rocky technical terrain. Any other ideas?

You can never go wrong with a Honda product....especially the 400EX! They make some great after market hop ups for it as well.
If it's a consideration I would go with the 400EX. Maybe buy a used one in good condition then add some more Hp with the money you save. Speaking of Honda....have you considered the 250R....thats another great Honda product.

I thought the 250R was an old model that they didn't make anymore. Is this not true? I like a lot of power, but I want something to handle awesome too. Is the Raptor the best all-around sport quad, and is there a lot of performance mods that can be done on it to get it to really scream?

go post this on the kawi form if you are realy considering a 700. and the best trail quad is the z-kfx 400 (magazine veiw )you will probably tip over on the rapptor , or get shaken to deth on a 1 cylander. personoly i would get the 700 i have not ridden one but i have the p650 and that thing will whelie to 30 mph and it only has 633cc, now the 700 with 67cc more and 100 pounds less will fly. i dont hate yamaha i just dont like ther products
