good info from 2fun, I would only reccommend that you dont do a full throttle run until you change that main up a few. I just dont want to see a burnt up engine.

The big screws on top of the carbs are to adjust the idle speed and sync the carbs. Which by the way have you checked. they carbs need to open and close at the same time.

I agree with doing plug checks, but I think you are too lean on top to do a full throttle check.

get a manual, then bump the mains up, then make sure the carbs are synced, then do some plug checks and adjust from there.

2fun gave you the proper method, you need to follow that. I would thank him for typing all that in.

Let us know how it all comes out in the end.

Bat

Thanks Bat.
I agree he should bump up the mains before doing the plug check.
Even if he didn't bump them up first, he shouldn't burn the motor up on a 10-15 second run. Even so, with the mods he listed at sea level, I agree he is probably running lean.

Better to be safe than sorry.

No problem, your welcome, just out of curiousity let us know how it comes out and what jetting you end up with.

I like to have ballparks for when I travel around.

Thanks
Bat

You are welcome.
Just be sure to follow the procedure, and use fresh properly gapped sparkplugs.

And yes, please do let us know what you end up going with.
Feedback = good
