If you are jetted properly now. someware in the range of 148 to 150. The easyest cure i found on my e series was to take out the plate on the silencer so it is straight through and put all the disks back in. That sould lean you out just right. if every thing is just as you said.

I just replaced my '01 tranny with an '02 tranny. My work was done at Capital Yamaha in sacramento. A little expensive, but i also had it ported and polished. Going to sand mountain this weekend.

Sand Mt!? You guys should be at Thunder Hill trying out the new track this weekend. With all of us so close(relative to how far the forum stretches)we need to get a weekend trip to Sand Mt together. Have fun ripping around the sand!

How much did the parts cost and what do i need to buy? The new atv action has some new tran from san coe, I
think that is the name. Do u guys know anything about them? It is alot of cash $900+. Maybe we go for rip this weekend or kick a cold one down. I will be there on sat and sun.

I would replace with 02/03 trans instead of the aftermarket gears, the new gears are much stronger.
