So let me get this straight. You are sick of buying gas and 2 stroke, but you want to put $$$ into a 686??? And your current banshee would still beat it. If you have some cash, why not build your motor into a long rod or stroker, then youll get the low end torque that you liked about the Raptor, but still have an awesome top end...

Not only that, but dont you see how many Raptors are blowing up all over the place on this board. I think there were 2 this weekend alone.. Probably more..

So in closing, if you want to go slower and spend way more cash, by all means, get a Raptor...

I thought the point of drag racing was to go fast? buying a raptor for drags isnt the wisest idea...

port your 350 and go from there. You'll be suprised what porting alone can do to a banshee.

For the price of a 686 you can make a banshee that would tear it a new one. Up the compression, port it, and change the timing to whatever the builder tells you to (im still learning about these 2 strokes, but im getting the hang of it. Going to try and rebuild my first one tomorow ). You will scream like a girl when it hits the powerband. As for jetting, LMAO a rappy is way harder, the two carbs dont even use the same jets. If you still want to sell the banshee, go aead. Gonna really **** you off though when you spend all the money trying to setup a raptor for drag racing then the person you sold it two comes and beats you while spending maybe half that amount.

Slapaho,
Those are excellent mods. Shave your head, advance the timing, and get your flywheel lightened. Thats easily less than $150... And the most bang for the buck you can get.
