I am running 175-177.5 mikuni mains along with DJ needles at a custom location around sea level. Mikuni mains are roughly 10 sizes larger than DJ mains. My setup is 10.75/1 JE, Stage 1 HC, P-bomb header and an e-series /w 12 dics and no endcap....this puppy is loud.

Thanks Gary, for some reson I was thinking it was a progressive gain.
example: 148DJ=150mik, 150DJ=155mik

I noticed the stock Raptor comes with a 140 / 145 jet combo (5 numbers in between).

I installed a White Brothers R4 Silencer (only) and increased my jets to 145 / 150.

I see a lot of folks only have 2 or 2.5 between their main jets. As an example, I noticed kyraptor23 has a combo of 148 / 150.

Why do some folks have 5 numbers between and others have 2 or 3 numbers in between?

Does my 140 / 145 combo sound right for a new Raptor with a WB Silencer, stock airbox and no other mods? I ride at sea level.

Thanks!

You can't, TRUST ME!!! If you are you will NEVER get it tuned in right. I struggled with that for a long time and didn't realise thats what my problem was. Swapped needles and had WAY better luck then.
