Default Buying my Daughter first ATV help needed......

I'm going to buy my daughter her first ATV. I've narrowed it down to a Yamaha. What size/model should I buy her. She will be 12 this weekend she is 4'11 and 110 lbs. She has never ridden a ATV before but is dieing to have one. I'm not sure what size is good for a beginner her age and size. any help is appriciated.

There is a Yamaha Breeze that would be good for beginners but you should look at the Suzuki LT-160 I had one a while back and it was a good and reliable machine. It also really depends on what kind of riding she wants to do and her size.

If she takes it slow and learns to respect the machine a Warrior would offer many years of fun and growth. She is at that age when they could out grow a smaller quad that might fit her now but going a little bigger would save good ol Da lots of $$$$$

Depends on what kind of riding your doing. My Daughter (12) has been riding for 2 years on a 300ex. But she wants a 400ex like her brothers. We ride the dunes alot with some hard pack. She likes the reverse on the 300ex but not the power. She road a warrior and to her it felt like the 300ex witch is piped, jetted and different gearing. The 400ex doesn't have reverse, but she has been riding the bros 400ex and really likes it. Starting out with a 300ex or warrior would be a good choice (for now).JMO.

get her a $500 learner (anything that runs and is safe),,,,,,then spend the money on a nicer bike if she really likes the sport (after some time)

you might not want to jump right into a warrior yet a year or so on a breeze might be a good idea she's 411 so a warrior would be pretty big jmo
